(NASDAQ: ISNS), world leading developer of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) computer-enabled detection and traffic control technology, announced today that they have supplied the City of New York (NYC) the latest generation RTMS® G4™ radar units for mid-block detection for close to 200 intersections in four different boroughs of the city as a part of the TOPICS IV project. The project is an expansion of a strategic program of NYC Department of Transportation to coordinate traffic control in several boroughs using centralized computer control and thereby improve traffic flow across the city.

The RTMS G4 is the only radar sensor with innovative “All-in-One” concept requiring no cabinet integration for interface, coverage of 12 lanes, minimal power requirement and is available with the widely accepted NTCIP standard communications protocol. RTMS G4 is also available with a Bluetooth option that allows technicians drive-up laptop access for setup and control.
