Saint Paul, Minn., August 16, 1999 - Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ/Small Cap: ISNS), a maker of video-based traffic management systems, announced today that its Hong Kong based subsidiary, Flow Traffic Limited, has received orders for the supply of vehicle weighing equipment to the Hong Kong police as well as track switching equipment for the Hong Kong island tramway system. The value of these orders exceeds $500,000.

Flow Traffic Limited, which is an Asian regional distributor of traffic control products manufactured by international traffic companies, was acquired by ISS in April 1999. Flow Traffic is currently setting up a technical support office in Bangkok, Thailand as well as a representative office in Shenzhen, China.
