Saint Paul, Minn., June 14, 1999 - Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (ISS) (Nasdaq SmallCap: ISNS) announced today that it has been awarded a contract to supply 15 Autoscope 2004 Systems in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Autoscope® wide area video vehicle detection system will be implemented as a part of a comprehensive Traffic Control and Surveillance System in the Hong Kong Airport Tunnel.

Johan Billow, General Manager of ISS’ newly acquired Hong Kong subsidiary Flow Traffic Limited, commented, “This is the first time Hong Kong has decided to use video based technology for vehicle detection and we feel very encouraged by the fact that Autoscope has been chosen. We are targeting a number of projects in Greater China and we will now have an important reference site in one of the most technologically advanced cities in Asia.”

Flow Traffic Limited, a distributor of traffic control products manufactured by international traffic companies, was acquired by ISS in April 1999 to provide a base for further developing the business of ISS in Asia.
