Investor's Overview

Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, Image Sensing Systems (ISS) was founded in 1984 to develop products for advanced traffic management systems, traffic data collection applications and related markets. ISS is a publicly traded company. (NASDAQ: ISNS)

ISS pioneered video image processing, also known as machine vision or artificial vision, for vehicle detection and continues to be a technology leader today. In late 2007, ISS added the market-leading radar product line and radar technology capabilities.

ISS' industry leading computer enabled detection (CED) products, including the Autoscope® machine-vision family and the RTMS™ radar family, combine embedded software signal processing with sophisticated sensing technologies for use in transportation and safety/surveillance management. CED is a group of technologies in which software, rather than humans, examines the outputs of complex sensors to determine what is happening in the field of view in real-time.

Products are sold globally to city, county, state, federal, and private traffic, highway, and toll road management agencies worldwide to control traffic flow and to reduce travel time, accidents, delays and congestion, air pollution, and fuel consumption. Products are marketed, distributed and supported by a comprehensive network of exclusive distributors and agents.

With more than 80,000 instances sold in over 60 countries worldwide, our depth of experience coupled with breadth of product portfolio uniquely positions us to provide powerful hybrid technology solutions and to exploit the convergence of the traffic, security and environmental management markets.
