This position is located in our office in Bucharest, Romania.

Postion Purpose:

The primary objective of an Inside Sales/Marketing Representative is to provide support to sales management by generating sales leads across EMEA region.

An Inside Sales/Marketing Representative is expected to engage in the daily proactive customer contact and sales efforts (via phone, email, conferences, presentations, trade shows and targeted mailings).

An Inside Sales/Marketing Representative is expected to support ISS in the overall marketing efforts to build brand awareness and product promotion for EMEA region.

Essential Position Functions:

  • Keep the leads database/ CRM information up to date through cold calls and emails to potential customers. This includes supporting all regional sales managers with the CRM.
  • Leverage technology tools to discover new or existent sales opportunities across EMEA region – with a focus on digital techniques and methodologies (tendering portals, website visitors, etc.).
  • Collect the preliminary information for product quotation requests and bids in order to facilitate the quoting process for sales management.
  • Take ownership for customer enquiries, product quotation requests and proposals, and work closely with sales management to convert quotations to orders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Conduct market research to find answers about customer requirements, habits and trends as well as monitoring competitor activity.
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Ensure tracking and reporting of various marketing and sales usage of tools.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns

Education and Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • 3+ years of successful proven experience in inside sales, marketing specialist role for a multinational company
  • Solid Knowledge in using digital tools focused on finding sales opportunities (tendering portals, etc)
  • Solid Knowledge in using business social media tools (LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Engineering and/or communication college degree or in last year from an accredited institution
  • Technical certifications or equivalent communication credentials
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently and in a cross functional team environment;
  • Problem solving, attention to detail and multi-tasking;
  • Exceptional oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Foreign languages – Proficiency in in English(mandatory) and at least one of the following: Polish(Desirable), Russian(Desirable), Turkish (desirable), Arabic(desirable) 

Desirable Skills/Attributes:

  • General experience with technical solution selling to business and IT leaders;
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM / ERP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) or related fields is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Should be able to work comfortably in a typical office environment. Should be able to travel nationally and internationally.  Some minor lifting may be required.
