Vice President of Sales
Position Purpose:
Manage and guide the direction of the company’s sales and product management programs. Formulate and implement company-wide sales strategy, tailoring that strategy as appropriate to both the international as well as the domestic markets. Lead the product management, marketing and communications functions and interaction with cross-functional teams to build products responsive to market opportunities and facilitate growth.
Essential Position Functions:
- Maintain and develop sound partner relationships; coordinate sales and maintain effective communications with business partners and subsidiaries.
- Develop, implement and manage product management programs, driving process across interdisciplinary development teams including product managers, market managers, marketing communications, engineering development and technical services personnel.
- Foster adoption of product management practices between and amongst partners and subsidiaries.
- Manage and direct marketing and communications personnel to ensure internal and external communications are in accordance with integrated global marketing plan (e.g. collateral, web sites, press work, databases).
- Assist CEO and CFO with investor, shareholder and board relations and activities.
- Manage CRM processes and functionalities.
- Support CEO in business development functions identifying new opportunities, technologies, partners and markets for both endogenous and exogenous growth.
- Participate in strategic business planning process.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related subject or equivalent work experience.
- Proven success in the sales and marketing functions within a wide range of organizations, primarily “B-to-G” oriented.
- 10+ years experience in senior sales management role
- 10+ years hardware/software sales experience with technology products, along with at least 5 years product management and marketing experience.
- 10+ years experience in international sales
- Stellar written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levels, functions and within a variety of cultures.
- Proven leadership skills
Preferences:
- Advanced degree or engagement in post graduate program
- Traffic industry and component technologies knowledge
- Bi-lingual or Multi-lingual
- Certified in Product Management methodologies (e.g. Pragmatic Marketing or equivalent)
- Having lived outside the USA for an extended period of time

- 25-35% travel expected; includes international and domestic
