Econolite Control Products, Inc. of Anaheim, California is a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of traffic control equipment and systems. In 1991, ISS and Econolite formed a strategic alliance and Econolite began manufacturing and distributing the Autoscope products throughout North America. Since then, Econolite and ISS have formed a seamless engineering, manufacturing and marketing liaison for the cooperative development of advanced machine vision algorithms, graphical user interface and embedded software, product manufacturing and new product development and market expansion. As a result, the Econolite/ISS strategic alliance boasts of a global market leading position in video vehicle detection, with Autoscope equipment supplied for more than 65,000 cameras in more than 55 countries and most North American cities.
Today, Econolite and Image Sensing Systems' joint mission is to sustain its competitive advantage by developing and marketing state-of-the-art, patented and proprietary machine vision products and services to satisfy the needs of city, county, state and federal traffic engineers, to reduce traffic congestion, and provide the enabling technology for the next generation of traffic management systems and select Homeland Security applications.
Wireless Technology, Inc.
Wireless Technology, Inc. (WTI) of Ventura, California designs and manufactures ultra-high performance, Wireless Video Transmission Systems and Video Surveillance Cameras for the Global Security and Transportation Markets. WTI has been our strategic partner since 1999.
In February 2002, ISS, with Econolite, formalized an agreement with WTI to manufacture both the Autoscope Solo Pro camera and the AIS Camera.
